Skeleton workers

Although we usually see skeletons as enemies in games, I thought what about workers? If a mighty necromancer can raise an army of warriors then why can't they also do hunting, gathering, mining, carpentry etc. Saving their skills as living beings, these workers are skilled and capable and also immune to a lot of human problems!
